I began this song in the August of 2022, when I was living in Ohio, but I did not complete it until October of 2023, after I had moved to Utah. I like to think that this song conveys the emotions I felt during both phases, both the desperation to escape my environment earlier on, and the great uncertainties of my new environment later.
